Multiplying Fractions-
  1. Align the fractions going horizantal.
  2. Multiply the numerators together.
  3. Then multiply the denominators.

Multiplying Fractions with Mixed Numbers-
  1. Turn the mixed numbers into improper fractions.
  2. Multiply the numerators together.
  3. Then multiply the denominators.
  4. Simplify the improper fraction back to a mixed number.

Dividing Fractions:
  1. Write the problem horizontally.
  2. Keep the first fraction.
  3. Change division to multiplication.
  4. Flip the numerator as the denominator and the denominator as the numerator.
  5. Multiply the farctions together.







Easy Problems

1/2 x 1/2 =1/4



Medium Problems

1 1/2 ×1 1/2 = 6/4= 3/2= 1 1/2



Hard Problems

4 3/4 × 5 1/2=

(4/76)/(7/8)=
